In Las Calas the peace of the vicinity entraps the traveller when he or she crosses the entrance to the hotel. The house is an explosion of life and colour with exuberant vegetation, and in its 2,000 square metres trees of different species alternate (plum trees, pear trees, orange trees, lemon trees, mandarin trees, almond trees, firetrees and Canary Island viburnums, cypress trees, palm trees, tree bindweed&) with plants that flower during the different seasons of the year (arum lilies, lavender, hydrangeas, dahlias, camellias, rosemary, lilium&). The estate is bounded by small areas of fruit trees and kitchen gardens. A place where it is easy to escape from the world for a few days, to succumb to the simple pleasures of life, to enjoy moments of silence, to diminish the rhythm of everyday life, returning to the equilibrium that nature gives us and of which we are a part. |
